UAW president Shawn Fain, speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on Monday night, took off his black blazer in mid-speech to show his red t-shirt emblazoned with the words: "Trump is a Scab." Underneath, it read: "Vote Harris."
During his speech, he said: "Donald Trump is a scab. That's just not my opinion, that's a fact. When Donald Trump was president, corporate America ran wild."
He went on to say: "Donald Trump is all talk and Kamala Harris walks the walk."
Unions general see the Democratic administrations as far more sensitive to worker rights.
But when it comes to social issues, there are some conservative union members who side with Republicans.
